IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT SHIPPING 

  • Orders shipping to a PO Box or rural areas might incur an extra fee or additional transit time. Please keep in mind that occasionally, these packages might be handed out by UPS or Purolator to Canada Post ( If shipping in Canada) for final delivery. Rural Areas are typically defined as Postal Codes containing a number "0" as the second digit. Ex: V0N 1S6 
  • Once the order is placed and shipping has been scheduled, if any modification needs to be made, this might affect the delivery time. We will always do our best to make sure this does not occur. 
  • Our deliveries are usually scheduled during typical business hours, which are from 9am to 5pm on weekdays. Please keep in mind that unforeseen courier delays may occur.
  • Once the order has been processed and shipping has been scheduled, you will receive an email with your tracking information. For all orders placed in advance, please keep in mind that we can only produce the shipping waybill 10-15 days in advance depending on the shipping company.  
  • Our cut-off time for same day shipping is 1:00 PM (Pacific Standard Time) excluding Saturday, Sunday and Holidays. Additional time may be required during busy holiday seasons. Transit times and rates are provided online prior to final check out.
  • Customers are welcome to use their own shipping / courier companies.

SHIPPING FAQ

I placed an order and realized I provided an incomplete address. How can I make sure the gift will get delivered to the correct address? 

If you notice that the address provided is incomplete or incorrect after placing your order, it is crucial to act promptly to avoid any delivery issues. Please contact customer support by phone or email asap with the correct address details. Make sure you have your order number handy. We will update the shipping information immediately from our end. If the gift has already left, we will need to get in contact with the courier and pass on the information. Please be aware, that a change of address or re-delivery might result in a delay and additional costs.

What happens if the recipient is not at home when the courier arrives?

When it comes to courier delivery and nobody is home to receive the package, different courier companies have varying policies for such situations.
If the delivery address is a house and it appears safe, the package  will be left at the front door. 
If the delivery address is a condo or apartment, and there is no access to the building, a notice will be left by the front door of the building.
UPS, Purolator, Canada Post and Canpar all have neighbourhood outlets where packages can be picked up or another attempt can be scheduled by the recipient. 

Do you include any receipts with the gift?

Never. Unless it is specifically requested by our customer,  the receipt is never added with the shipment.

Do you deliver to hospitals?

Yes we do. However, keep in mind that if the recipient leaves the hospital before the gift arrives, we will need to re-direct the gift, which might inccur additional charges depending on the distance. 

How do I pick a specific delivery date?

Our date picker allows you to choose a preferred delivery date on our website. 

Do you offer same day delivery?

We do offer same day delivery to select areas via local courier in the Greater Vancouver area. Please note that the cut-off for same day delivery is 10am. Please contact us for rates and availability. 
* this might not be possible during the busy Christmas season due to the high volumes

Can I request delivery to a building concierge?

Yes. Just request it at the time of placing your order. 

I am ordering a gift going to an apartment complex. The buzzer of the apartment is not working. Will the courier call the recipient when they arrive at the address? 

UPS and Purolator will not use their personal phones to call recipients. 
Local couriers are more flexible in this regard and we can request a phone call when the driver arrives to the building.
Local couriers are only available in the Greater Vancouver area.

Are shipping services guaranteed to arrive on the date requested? 

While couriers do their best to get the packages delivered on time, delays do occasionally happen due to weather conditions, traffic or mechanical issues. 
Unless there is a severe breakdown in the delivery timeline, shipping services are not guaranteed. 

I've heard snow days in Vancouver can be a bit hectic. What happens if my order is delayed because of weather? 

In case of extreme weather, couriers might not be able to access all the routes, causing delays on their deliveries. Unfortunately in this case, we are unable to do much until the weather and roads clear and couriers get back to their normal delivery schedule.  

Do you ship alcohol to all delivery destinations? 

Gifts containing alcohol are only shipped to locations in British Columbia.
